The company&#8217;s operations will remain unchanged. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The ownership of Pohjan Voima&#8217;s Swedish main owner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arise.se\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arise<\/a> will be transferred to the Norwegian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aneo.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aneo Group<\/a>. Aneo is an industrial company focused on the production and development of renewable energy, with wind and hydropower projects in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The change will not affect Pohjan Voima&#8217;s operations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For us, this means stronger shoulders and the support of a broader organisation. Aneo is an experienced renewable energy player with a history stretching back 75 years,&#8221; says <strong>Tomi M\u00e4kipelto<\/strong>, CEO of Pohjan Voima.<\/p>\n<p>According to M\u00e4kipelto, the Nordic countries need significant new renewable electricity generation in the coming years to ensure sufficient electricity for the green transition. Success in this market requires industrial expertise, efficient scale and long-term capital. The merging of Aneo and Arise creates good opportunities for this.<\/p>\n<p>Aneo is one of the leading renewable energy companies in the Nordic countries, with its headquarters in Trondheim. Aneo is owned by the Norwegian regional energy company Tr\u00f8nderEnergi and the energy investment company HitecVision.
